I come from a country whose 70% population resides in villages and two-third of the total population depends on agriculture for their livelihood. In a developed country as US, industrialization has allowed a significant reduction in manual tasks at the primary level of farming, whereas in a developing country as India, hand picking, sowing seeds and planting- the primary tasks - still consume the core of the farming industry, leading to a larger workforce in the primary sector, making agriculture the lifeline of India’s community.
I lead a vegetarian way of life. My life solely depends on agriculture.
