POSITIVE: Here is a great Nike Ad that I feel targets me as someone who likes to stay active. The reason I feel it targets me is because it shows people of all genders, all races, participating in many different types of activities. It relates to me because it basically conveys: Regardless of who you are and what your background is and what you like, "Free Yourself." Get out and do it!! It is a motivational commercial and I feel like it is very effective.

NEGATIVE: Below is an ad that I feel is literally speaking to me, as a woman, in order target men. The image of the ad has a guy in an action movie who says, "Hey ladies, enjoying the film? Of course not! Because this is "our" movie. And Dr. Pepper 10 is "our" soda." I think it is ridiculous to say that Dr. Pepper 10 is a "man's drink." It's a soda for crying out loud! By saying it's for men only, it just makes me want to drink it out of spite. Maybe that's exactly what Dr. Pepper wants, is to have me buy their product anyway (along with all the men). So I guess the joke is on me since I want to buy it anyway. I understand the concept behind it, but I feel like the way they approach it is silly.
