sorry for the delay. A good ad that is targeted towards myself is NIKE's 2010 ad for the FIFA World Cup entitled, "WRITE YOUR OWN FUTURE". This ad represents the pinnacle of blown out ad budgets, essentially making a 3 min mini-film, Hollywood blockbuster. The commercial has appearances by most of the stars of world futbol at the time and plays on their personalities and accomplishments.
A ad I feel that negatively targets me would be the Axe ad-"Angels will Fall" (2010). The ad takes a step away from Axe's usual provocative, suggestive model and instead employs a more sophisticated visual metaphor aimed at older males outside of their usual tween to teen target. Though I believe this ad is much better than their usual standard, it nonetheless fails to break the mediocrity and still represents a candid sex appeal delivered through poignant classical music and the old world charm of Turin, Italy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsnsP3mpGsI
