Technical Knowledge: InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop

In my first position out of undergrad, I realized quickly that it was almost necessary to learn how to use the Adobe Creative Suite. I did not have the opportunity to use these programs in my courses so I started to teach myself how to use the programs, took a class in graphic design and attending a continuing education course in InDesign. Knowing how to use these programs helps me in both understanding advertising and creating advertising. I have a much deeper appreciation for well designed ads and have always appreciated the strategy behind those ads. Personally, knowing how to use the programs allows me to develop my own ideas digitally.
